Joella’s Hot Chicken is introducing a Family Picnic Pack filled with Jumbo Tenders and guest’s favorite, made-from-scratch, Southern side dishes like the award-winning Creamy Mac & Cheese, kid-friendly Crispy Thin Fries and Green Beans and Bacon. Ahead of warmer weather this spring, the Family Picnic Pack will provide an affordable family meal that can be enjoyed around the table or during a backyard picnic as families look for ways to entertain their kids while participating in social distancing. The Family Picnic Pack is available for carryout, delivery and drive thru (where available) starting April 20 and includes:
Family Picnic Pack for Four: 12 Jumbo Tenders, a choice of two, one-quart Southern Sides and two Dippin’ Sauces for $34.99.
Family Picnic Pack for Eight: 24 Jumbo Tenders, the choice of two, 2-quart Southern sides and two Dippin’ Sauces for $64.99
“Families have been adjusting to work and school all under one roof, adding to the normal stressors of daily life,” says Christina Happel, Regional Vice President of Operations for Joella’s Hot Chicken. “Our Family Picnic Pack is a cost-effective way for families to take a break from the kitchen and gather around the table or in the backyard for a meal made with love.”
Beginning on April 20, Joella’s will also give away two $35 gift cards to fans on Instagram who showcase their own backyard picnics. For a chance to win, guests can post a photo on Instagram of their Joella’s family picnic and tag @JoellasHotChicken and #JoellasFamilyPicnic until May 3.
In response to COVID-19, guests can order a limited menu for carry-out, DoorDash delivery and drive thru (where available) that includes many favorites including Jumbo Tenders that come fried or grilled, Kale Crunch Salad, Chicken & Waffles, and the Classic Big Sammie. Vegan Chicken and Joella’s Southern-inspired sides like Creamy Mac & Cheese and Parm Garlic Fries are also available.
