MilkShake Factory, the neighborhood dessert destination known for its handspun milkshakes and small-batch, premium chocolates, will open its newest location in Ridgewood, New Jersey, on Saturday, October 10. Located at 63 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood, NJ 07450, the new shop will bring the brand’s handcrafted desserts to the heart of the village’s bustling downtown.
To celebrate, MilkShake Factory Ridgewood will host a grand opening event on October 10 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., featuring a buy one, get one free offer on shakes, sundaes and molten cups, free MilkShake Factory T-shirts for the first 100 guests, a gift basket for the first guest in line, a DJ and giveaways throughout the afternoon.
The Ridgewood location is owned and operated by franchisees Penn and Tara Miller-Jones, whose connection to MilkShake Factory began when their son attended the University of Pittsburgh. During visits to see him, the couple became regular visitors to the brand’s Forbes Avenue location and quickly became fans of the concept. Later, when friends and former colleagues became MilkShake Factory franchisees, Penn and Tara began exploring the opportunity to bring a location to their own community.
