Something sweet is coming to Yulee. Whit’s Frozen Custard opened its newest location on Monday, September 28, at 464073 State Road 200, Suite 8, bringing fresh-made frozen custard and a welcoming hometown atmosphere to the Nassau County community.
Locally owned and operated by Barb and Ken Porter, Whit’s Frozen Custard of Yulee is designed to be more than a place to grab dessert. The Porters envision a welcoming gathering place where families, friends, sports teams and neighbors can slow down, connect and enjoy a scoop together.
“Whit’s Frozen Custard of Yulee is where small-batch craftsmanship meets genuine Southern hospitality,” said Ken Porter. “Every scoop is made fresh daily and served in a space built intentionally for families, teams and neighbors to gather. As a locally owned shop, Whit’s Yulee reflects the heart of Nassau County — warm, welcoming, faith-friendly and community-rooted. It’s more than dessert; it’s a place where people feel known, where excellence is the standard, and where a beloved Ohio tradition finds a new home in Yulee.”
Whit’s Frozen Custard is known for its rich, creamy custard made fresh daily in each shop. Guests can enjoy classic flavors, rotating selections and a variety of toppings and creations.
Among the signature menu items are Whitsers, custom frozen custard creations blended with guests’ favorite toppings, and Whitties, frozen custard cookie sandwiches that combine creamy custard with freshly baked cookies. With plenty of ways to customize each visit, guests can create a different favorite every time.
The Yulee location will be open daily from noon to 9 p.m., giving families plenty of time to stop by after school, following a game or activity, or simply when the craving for something sweet strikes.
