Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, makers of fresh, unique sandwiches, announced that they signed an agreement for six new deals, with the latest addition being in Boston. With more than 70 locations, Capriotti’s will be continuing its 30 percent growth from last year with new area developments deals in Pennsylvania, Las Vegas, Texas, and Orange County. Sean and Nels Olson will develop 18 restaurants in the Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk counties in Massachusetts over an eight-year period, with the first to be opened by the end of the year. Corey Melendrez and Thomas Gourley signed a three-unit area development agreement, the first of which just opened in Pahrump, Nevada. Kevin Looby has also signed a three-unit agreement for Chester and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania. Looby’s new locations are in addition to his locations in West Chester and Exton, Pennsylvania. Warren Ruttenberg and Rhonda Gilburne signed on to expand the brand in Arizona with a three-unit development agreement for development within the next year and a half in Scottsdale. The first restaurant is currently in construction. KCI Investments has secured its first Dallas location and has plans for 20 units in Orange County within the next eight years. “We are excited to start operations in Boston, Orange County, and Texas, as well as expanding our presence in Pennsylvania and Las Vegas,” says Ashley Morris, Capriotti’s CEO. “These are exciting new markets for our company and this is a huge moment for Capriotti’s.
