On May 26 Captain D’s will roll out a new menu item, Homestyle Crunchy Fish, in all its locations. The new item, another in the long line of the industry’s moves to upgrade its menu offerings, is a fish fillet rolled in Japanese breadcrumbs and served with a jalapeno tartar sauce.

"The only way to describe this product,” says Charles Bruce, senior VP of marketing for Captain D’s, “is that it is just unbelievably crunchy. Maybe even the crunchiest piece of fish you will ever put in your mouth."

According to Captain D’s, the Homestyle Crunchy Fish product will be featured in three different promotions:

Homestyle Crunchy Fish Basket. 2 pieces of fish, fries, and hushpuppies for $3.49.

Homestyle Crunchy Fish Dinner. 3 pieces of fish, fries, cole slaw, and hushpuppies for $4.99.

Homestyle Crunchy Fish & Shrimp. 2 pieces of fish, 5 butterfly shrimp, fries, cole slaw, and hushpuppies for $5.99.

The Homestyle Crunchy promotion runs from May 26 through July 13.
