The Dairy Queen system has announced the recipients of its annual Distributor, Vendor, and Dairy of the Year Awards. Unified Supply Chain Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of International Dairy Queen, Inc., annually recognizes supply chain partners that provide superior service and outstanding support to the more than 4,400 Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill locations in the United States.

This year’s recipients are:

Dairy of the Year: Maola Milk & Ice Cream of New Bern, North Carolina for achieving the highest evaluation score of all authorized dairies that manufacture Dairy Queen mix;

Distributor of the Year: Prairie Farms Dairy Supply of St. Louis for superior performance of on-time delivery, and warehouse and pricing accuracy; and

Vendor of the Year: Koch Foods Inc. of Park Ridge, Illinois for new image programs and product platforms.

Over the years, the Dairy Queen system has built a strong supply chain relationship with partners that have excelled in meeting the company’s needs. “This year’s award winners have continually provided the Dairy Queen system with exceptional service and have been consistent in their operational excellence, innovation, and customer support,” says Roger Hubbard, chief supply chain officer for USCI.
