Muscle Maker Grill, a chain of eateries that serves food prepared with your health in mind, announced it opened a new Edgewater, New Jersey, restaurant at 824 River Road. Located down the street from the previous Edgewater Muscle Maker Grill, which closed in 2011, the new restaurant marks the fast-growing chain’s 64th location nationwide.

“We are very excited to bring our healthy options back to the community of Edgewater and surrounding area,” says Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill. “Since our original Edgewater location closed, we have received an outpouring of requests to bring our unique menu and healthy alternative concept back to the area. We are thrilled to once again serve these loyal customers.”

Franchise owner Izzy Sanchez decided to open a Muscle Maker Grill because he strongly believed in the chain’s unique concept.

“Consumers are becoming increasingly health conscious and are looking for ways to eat well while dining out, however, they don’t want to sacrifice flavor,” Sanchez says. “Muscle Maker Grill offers a way for people to maintain their healthy eating habits while still enjoying the foods they love.”

Muscle Maker Grill was founded in 1995 by Silva with the goal of offering a nutritious alternative to fast food restaurants. The rapidly growing chain fills a void in the marketplace for quick, convenient, healthy meal options. Muscle Maker Grill serves lean, protein-based dishes and offers a variety of fruit smoothies in an assortment of flavors.
