Denver-based Qdoba Mexican Grill announced today the continued expansion of its chain with the October 5 opening of a new restaurant at Iliff & Peoria in Aurora, Colorado. To celebrate its grand opening, Qdoba is throwing a party to benefit The Adoption Exchange.

On Wednesday, October 18, the new Qdoba Mexican Grill will host a charity fundraiser party from 4-8 p.m. The event is open to the public, and with a donation of five dollars patrons can enjoy Qdoba food and drinks, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting The Adoption Exchange. There will be prizes, entertainment, and fun for all who come to support this agency, which has found families for more than 2,975 children since 1983. Last month, a similar event in Westminister raised $1,900 for The Make-a-Wish foundation.

Qdoba Mexican Grill features burritos, taco salads, nachos, and tacos. Items are prepared to order in front of the customer.

Ed Flores will manage the new location, which will seat 92 guests and employ 20 people. Flores was previously a multi-unit supervisor for a competing franchise.

“We’re excited about our new location and even more excited to lend a hand to a very important charity,” said Gary Beisler, president and chief executive officer for Qdoba.
