McLane Foodservice, a division of McLane Company Inc., announced that Sonic Drive-In selected McLane to provide food distribution services.

McLane is providing Sonic comprehensive supply chain services, including logistics, procurement, and inventory management solutions. The transition began with first deliveries on August 16 and will continue roll out in the Midwest through the month of August.

“At Sonic, we take tremendous pride in the quality and consistency of our food, so we choose our suppliers carefully,” says Drew Ritger, senior vice president of franchise development and distribution for Sonic Drive-In Restaurants. “McLane’s track record of operational excellence and supply chain efficiency make them an ideal distribution partner for Sonic, and we look forward to working together with such an established leader in the foodservice industry.”

McLane has more than 30 years of experience in serving the world’s largest quick-service and fast-casual restaurant chains and adhering to the most rigorous standards. With nationwide reach and a local presence in key population centers, McLane delivers world-class expertise, logistics, technology, and promotion services.

“With the addition of another high-profile customer like Sonic, McLane continues to establish itself as a frontrunner in the foodservice distribution industry,” says Susan Adzick, McLane’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Given our shared vision of superior quality and customer service, we feel that this relationship is a perfect fit and we’re proud to be working with such a successful and iconic American restaurant chain.”
