Carl’s Jr., the global quick service restaurant chain known for its quality innovations in the fast food space, announced the return of a fan favorite: the Redhook Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich.

Featuring a crispy, beer-battered premium wild-caught Alaska pollock fillet, the Redhook Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich is topped with fresh lettuce, creamy tartar sauce and tomato, all piled high on a sesame seed bun. The menu item is co-branded with Seattle’s Redhook Brewery, and features the distinctive flavor of their Extra Special Bitter ale.

“Carl’s Jr. has built a reputation as a pioneer in the [quick-service] industry; we were one of the first to bring the distinct flavors of branded beers and spirits into the fast food space as menu ingredients,” says Brad Haley, chief marketing officer for Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s restaurants. “Recently, we’ve introduced you to the Budweiser Beer Cheese Bacon Burger and the Midnight Moonshine Burger; before those, however, came the Redhook Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich, and we can’t wait for our customers to once again get their hands on this beer-branded blast from the past.”

The Redhook Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich is available now at participating locations and can be ordered as a single entrée for $3.29, as two entrées for $5 or as a combo meal with fries and a drink for $5.89; prices may vary by location.
