Arizona-based food + juice restaurant, Grabbagreen continues to expand its green footprint in the Southwest with opening its third Colorado location in The Grove Shopping Center just north of Cabelas. The healthy, fast-casual concept will open its doors Monday, September 18th. The healthy concept offers a full selection of grain and green-based bowls, fresh-pressed juice, handcrafted smoothies, Acai bowls, kid-friendly items, and a breakfast menu that is available all day long. The franchise is owned by Scott Meier of Makton, Inc. and is located at 14322 Lincoln St., Thornton, Colorado. Meier recently signed an agreement with partners Craig DeFries and Greg Smith of Smedium, Inc. for a Fort Collins Grabbagreen location that will open in 2018.
“We are very excited to introduce this clean and healthy fast food option to Thornton,” says Meier. “I was drawn to the Grabbagreen concept because living life as a sales road warrior, it was difficult to find healthy and quick food options when traveling. I was hooked by Grabbagreen immediately because the food was healthy and it tasted amazing and was even the first person to attend a Discovery Day in Phoenix to learn more about the concept when they announced franchising.”
Grabbagreen promotes an “Eat Clean, Grabbagreen” philosophy and its value resonates with customers looking for a quick meal that is much healthier than normal fast food and less expensive than a fine dining option. Grabbagreen is the first fast food concept of its kind serving mostly organic food items, antibiotic and hormone-free beef, poultry, whole food, fresh juice and smoothies in the country.
“With Colorado being as active and health conscious as it is, a Grabbagreen location just made sense,” says Meier. “The Thornton/Broomfield area is thriving and there are not a lot of quick or healthy options. The Grove is the perfect location as it provides convenient access for residents right off the interchange of Interstate 25 & 144th Avenue. We are also in close proximity to Centura Health and St. Anthony North Medical Pavilion and surrounding community.”
The entire, whole-food menu is naturally gluten-free, preservative-free and GMO free. The proteins are hormone-free and antibiotic-free. In addition to the healthy menu, all Grabbagreen’s signature menu items are prepared fresh and made-to-order. Grabbagreen is both Vegan and Vegetarian friendly by offering a variety of options for customers to customize their meal with the popular ‘Grab Your Own’ option.
