Just Salad, the fast-casual restaurant committed to making healthy food accessible to everyone, is coming out as an official NYC Pride sponsor for the third consecutive year. To celebrate Pride Month, the brand is bringing back The Big Gay Garden Salad and introducing a must-have “Tossin’ Salad Since 2006” t-shirt.

“The response we’ve seen from our LGBT guests and the community has inspired us to come back again this year to show the world how much we support the LGBT community,” says Just Salad CEO and founder Nick Kenner.

The rainbow-inspired Big Gay Garden Salad is a 180-calorie vegetarian dish, featuring romaine, red cabbage, tomatoes, avocado, carrots, and banana peppers. It will be featured on the menu at all of Just Salad’s U.S. locations this June. One dollar from each salad sold will be donated to a local LGBT organization: NYC Pride in New York and New Jersey, Center on Halsted in Chicago, and The William Way LGBT Community Center in Philadelphia. New this year, Just Salad is selling their notorious Pride-themed t-shirts. Fans can now purchase their own “Tossin’ Salad Since 2006” V-neck shirt for $19.99 at justsalad.com/gaypride, starting at 10:00am ET on Friday, June 1.

“We are proud to feed and outfit our customers for the celebration, and more than anything, we are honored to walk in New York City’s Pride March for the third year in a row,” says Director of Marketing Stephen Swartz, who will be marching with 50 Just Salad teammates. “Our customers have always enjoyed commemorating Pride Month with us, and we’re so excited to add this shirt to every Pride goers’ wardrobe this year.”

Chris Frederick, NYC Pride Managing Director, elaborates on what Just Salad’s contributions mean to the organization, “NYC Pride is thrilled to partner with Just Salad for the third year. These needed funds are crucial in allowing us to continue to inspire, educate, commemorate and celebrate our diverse community. With over eighteen events planned for 2018, none of it would be possible without their commitment to our cause.”
