Yogen Früz Master Franchisees, Michael Geonnotti and Ron Perruzza, opened a new location in Philadelphia at Citizen’s Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies.

“Almost all of our customers are surprised that we blend the fruit and frozen yogurt together,” says Michael Geonnotti. Customers can choose low fat vanilla, low fat chocolate, or fat free sorbet, then select a frozen fruit to blend in.

At the two kiosks inside Citizens Bank Park, consumers can choose blueberries, mango, strawberries, raspberries, or bananas. Once the yogurt or sorbet and fruit choices are made, the ingredients are all fed into a “Mix It” machine, which produces a fruity and creamy treat for $6.50. Top it off with chocolate or rainbow sprinkles for no extra charge.

Experienced entrepreneurs with multiple successful start-ups under their belts, Geonnotti and Perruzza are the Master Franchisees for Yogen Früz USA for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and North Florida.

Geonnotti, a lifelong Bucks County, Philadelphia resident, spent many years in the marine industry owning both boat dealerships and marinas. His most recent venture, Rush Home Services, is a construction management company specializing in residential and commercial projects throughout the Philadelphia suburbs.

Perruzza is a Toronto resident who has founded more than twenty businesses throughout Southern Ontario over the past two decades. He currently owns two innovative technology and design companies, Radiant Audio Design and Rad3Sixty. No stranger to the world of franchising, Perruzza owned and operated ten Subway franchises around Southern Ontario over the past two decades and served on the company’s North American Franchisee Board of Directors between 2001 and 2007.

Perruzza and Geonnotti are currently seeking franchisees throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and North Florida. “With franchise fees of $25,000, we’re expecting to find a lot of opportunity in the mid-Atlantic and northern Florida regions,” Perruzza says.

Yogen Früz offers each franchisee a unique opportunity with business models ranging from kiosks, in-line stores, cafes, and mobile trucks.

Founded in 1986 in Toronto by Aaron, Michael, and Simon Serruya, Yogen Früz has grown to be a world leader in the frozen yogurt category, with more than 1,200 locations operating in 25 countries around the world.
