Bojangles’ announced the grand prize winner of the Bojangles’ Southern 500 Winner’s Circle Sweepstakes. Ralph Radcliffe of Columbia, South Carolina, is the winner of the Winner’s Circle grand prize package, which includes the choice of one of three dream vacations—valued at $10,000—and $10,000 in spending money.
Bojangles’ created the sweepstakes in celebration of its third year as the title sponsor of the Bojangles’ Southern 500, a longtime staple of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, held at Darlington Raceway on Saturday, April 12.
“We wanted to bring the excitement of the ‘Track Too Tough to Tame’ into our restaurants and give our everyday guests the opportunity to win big with the Winner’s Circle Sweepstakes,” says Bojangles’ president and CEO Clifton Rutledge. “For Mr. Radcliffe, a regular visit to Bojangles’ turned into a $20,000 grand prize package. It is an absolute thrill make this happen, and we’re excited to congratulate our lucky winner.”
Radcliffe learned about the sweepstakes at the Bojangles’ located at 1200 August Road in West Columbia, South Carolina, where he received sweepstakes entry codes on special edition Winner’s Circle sweepstakes cups. More than 575 restaurants across the Southeast participated in the six-week Winner’s Circle Sweepstakes.
Bojangles’ also selected first prize and second prize winners, Lesley Johnson of North Charleston, South Carolina, and Sam Reynolds of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, who won $5,000 and $2,500, respectively.
In 2012, Bojangles’ entered into a multi-year agreement with International Speedway Corp. to be the title sponsor of the Bojangles’ Southern 500. As part of the partnership, Bojangles’ serves race fans its Chicken Supremes, Cajun Filet Sandwiches, Seasoned Fries, and Legendary Iced Tea at Darlington Raceway, Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Super Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, and Richmond International Raceway.
