800° Woodfired Kitchen, known for its unique and innovative approach to the art of cooking with wood fire, is set to open in Phillips Place, Charlotte’s premier luxury retail center, in the first half of 2021. The new franchise operation is part of the burgeoning brand’s partnership with local entrepreneurs Steven Jensen, an entertainment industry veteran, and Kyle O’Brien, an expert in the food and beverage industry, who have teamed up to introduce the popular concept to the beautiful SouthPark neighborhood.

Originally founded in 2011 by Chef Anthony Carron, the philosophy of 800° Woodfired Kitchen starts with the purest ingredients — scratch dough, fresh produce and artisan-quality meats and cheeses — placed into specially designed woodfired stone hearth ovens to create unique, subtle and smoky tastes. With locations throughout the globe, 800° Woodfired Kitchen offers a diverse menu featuring both clean-eating and indulgent options.  From satisfying salads, bowls, sandwiches, woodfired proteins and vegetable plates to their irresistible craft pizza, there is something flavorful and craveable to please the palates of every guest.

The 3,000 square-foot SouthPark location will offer both indoor and outdoor patio seating for lunch and dinner with a full bar located in the rear of the restaurant.  800° Woodfired Kitchen Phillips Place will also have an extensive catering menu for local businesses and partners.

Bar ONE will have its own unique identity and entrance for after-hours cocktails and late-night lite dining.  Ensconced in low lighting, surrounded by rich mahogany and leathered booths with locally inspired murals donning the walls, Bar ONE will bring something to Phillips Place and the surrounding area that doesn’t exist and is most definitely deserved.  The exclusive setting and cool but casual ambiance will make Bar ONE the locals’ choice for after-work drinks, intimate get togethers and private events.

“Finding the perfect partners and such an ideal location to introduce our delicious food to the people of South Charlotte has been nothing short of thrilling,” says Chef Carron. “Neighbors and visitors alike should brace themselves. Their new favorite restaurant is coming to town, and we believe this is just the beginning of our growth in the market.”

Local entrepreneurs Jensen and O’Brien, who each boast an impressive and proven track record in identifying game-changing concepts and successfully bringing them to market in their respective industries, recognized the potential in 800° Woodfired Kitchen when they first came across it.
