Cra-Z-Art, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023, and is a leading U.S. manufacturer and innovator in the toy, activity, art, and school supply industries, has announced a partnership with Raising Cane’s, one of the nation’s fastest growing Restaurant Brands serving ONE LOVE – Craveable Chicken Finger Meals. Raising Cane’s will sell the first-ever customized Giga Pet game online at RaisingCanesGear.com starting this month. The game and packaging will be branded with Raising Cane’s logo and signature colors as well as feature mascot Cane III in the gameplay. Cra-Z-Art purchased Top Secret Toys, the makers of Giga Pets, last year.
Giga Pets were first introduced in the 1990’s and have had a recent resurgence – the games now have enhanced game-play and improved pixilation. In the Raising Cane’s edition, kids interact with a digital version of the Cane’s namesake mascot, Cane III, a yellow Labrador retriever. They happily nurture the dog through feedings, activities and playtime while earning points and seeing the puppy grow and mature in response to the user’s attentiveness. The toy comes with a lanyard and easily attaches to a backpack or other accessories.
“We are thrilled to have partnered with Raising Cane’s to develop a customized Giga Pet for them to merchandise. It’s a testament to the resurgence and popularity of this nostalgic toy and is a perfect item for the popular Brand’s customers,” said Lawrence Rosen, Chairman of Cra-Z-Art. “We’re confident it will be a very successful program for the Brand and will bring fun and joy to those who engage in the game play.”
Cra-Z-Art also markets and manufactures best-selling brands such as RoseArt, Shimmer ‘n Sparkle, Be Inspired and My Look craft and activity sets, Cra-Z-Slimy, Softee Dough and Kodak puzzles, along with iconic properties like Snoopy Sno Cone Machine, Magna Doodle, and their latest hit, Crystal Gem Creations. The items are available at major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target and Amazon as well as specialty stores. The company also sells items on its own website, www.cra-z-art.com.
Raising Cane’s and Cra-Z-Art will promote the customized Giga Pet this holiday season through first quarter of next year via social media and other marketing programs. The item will be sold online.
