Alto-Shaam is proud to announce the addition of Ryan Norman as a corporate chef with the Alto-Shaam culinary team. With over 15 years of culinary training and experience in the foodservice industry, Norman will be a valuable addition to the already talented Alto-Shaam culinary team.
Since receiving his degree in culinary arts from the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago, Norman has worked in a variety of roles in many restaurants. Most recently, as the executive chef for The Copper Kettle in Dubuque, Iowa.
Having a wide variety of skills, Norman has in-depth experience in fine dining and catering operations as well as consulting for schools, restaurants, college and universities, hospitals, businesses, and prisons. His experience with creating complex dishes, high volume food production, and banqueting, in addition to his understanding of commercial foodservice equipment technologies will all contribute positively to the goals and advancement of the Alto-Shaam culinary team.
In his new role with Alto-Shaam as corporate chef, Norman will engage in and support the development and execution of culinary education and product and technology seminars as well as culinary research and development. Further, he will contribute to the menu applications for all Alto-Shaam product lines, assist with culinary training and customer support, and create and contribute culinary content for Alto-Shaam’s social media outlets to encourage customer engagement.
