Pizza Patrón announced that same-store comparable sales increased 3.63 percent in September. The company was helped by strong sales of its medium-sized Amigo Pizza and its retail price structure.

The Amigo Pizza was launched earlier this year under the banner “Un Amigo para Todos,” or “An Amigo for Everyone.” The campaign features three distinct “Choose Your Amigo” value options: one-topping for $4, two or three toppings for $5, and specialty pizzas for $6 each. In addition, the Amigo Pizza is being featured in the company’s “Dia del Patron” promotion where customers can purchase an unlimited amount of pepperoni Amigo Pizzas every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for $2.99 through the end of October.
