Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc. announces the promotion of four executives at the company’s world headquarters in Sandy Springs, Georgia.
“We’re thrilled to be able to reward the achievement and skills of some well-deserving, tenured, and high-performing team members,” says Hala Moddelmog, Arby’s president. “We are very excited about these role changes and the addition of new talent to the Arby’s team.”
Nils Okeson was promoted to chief administrative officer and general counsel. As part of this newly expanded role, Nils will continue to serve as Arby’s general counsel and will also assume responsibility for human resources.
George Condos will continue to serve as Arby’s chief operating officer. Additionally, he will now also lead business development, including architecture and design, franchise development, real estate, and construction.
Jo Ann Herold was promoted to vice president, brand communications and PR, and will lead the communications and public relations department. In this role, Jo Ann will continue Arby’s efforts to enhance both the quality and the quantity of external and employee communications. Jo Ann will also continue to serve as the vice chairman of the Arby’s foundation.
Finally, Len Van Popering was promoted to senior VP of product development and innovation. Since joining the brand five years ago, Len has dramatically improved Arby’s new product process, leading to a tripling of the output of product development for the restaurants.
