A deal was struck November 2 between Raving Brands (former parent company of Moe’s Southwest Grill and Shane’s Rib Shack) and BH Acquisition LLC for the purchase of Boneheads Seafood restaurant’s name and trademark. BH Acquisition LLC, which operates out of Atlanta, is now positioning itself to expand across the U.S. through franchising of its own.

“We are very excited about this deal and for Boneheads. Raving Brands came up with a great concept, and BH Acquisition LLC is ready to take it to the next level,” says BH Acquisition spokesperson Argus Wiley. “We have three major things going for us. We have a niche market, a menu full of healthy options, and no direct competition. That makes us very desirable as a franchise. I fully expect that our concept will take off in multiple markets in the second half of next year.”

BH Acquisition LLC hopes to lure potential franchisees that are ready to embrace the future of restaurants.

“We live in changing times. No longer is the success of a restaurant based on who can provide the cheapest gut-buster of a meal but who can offer the best value for the consumers’ dollar,” Argus says. “We have healthy food at unbelievable prices. That puts us a category all by ourselves.”

BH Acquisition LLC intends to open 150 units within the next 10 years.
