Blaze Pizza, an innovative new concept in fast-casual dining, announced the opening of its Pasadena, California, location in the heart of the city’s vibrant Theatre District.

To celebrate, the company is offering its crafted-to-order personal-sized pizzas free to Blaze Pizza’s Facebook fans on October 20, between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Those who "like" the Blaze Pizza page on Facebook can download and print a pizza coupon, or show it on their mobile device to obtain their free pizza at the Pasadena restaurant.

Blaze Pizza uses an assembly line–format that lets guests customize a Blaze signature pizza or create one of their own, choosing from a wide selection of fresh, artisanal toppings, most of which are at no extra charge.

Each 11-inch pizza is then “fast-fire’d” in a blazing-hot, open-hearth oven, delivering a delicious, hot, and crispy pizza in less than two minutes.

Along with ingredients ranging from classic pepperoni and Italian sausage to the more artisanal fresh artichokes, sauce drizzles, and roasted red peppers, Blaze Pizza offers gluten-free dough and vegan cheese to accommodate pizza fans with specific dietary needs.

To achieve pizza perfection, the company teamed up with executive chef Bradford Kent, owner of Los Angeles' top-rated Olio Pizzeria & Cafe (Zagat's No. 2 pizza in Los Angeles).

Chef Kent developed Blaze Pizza’s signature from-scratch dough and flavorful recipes exclusively for the company.

“Blaze Pizza is all about creativity and letting folks build pizzas any way they want with our ingredients and crust,” Kent says. “Plus, I love seeing guests’ smiles when they see the pizza they’ve created come out of the oven so quickly.  It’s a concept I’m thrilled to lend my expertise to.”
