Bruegger’s Bagels’ new winter menu helps guests stick to their New Year’s diet resolutions in 2019 by offering all-new sandwiches and ingredients to suit a healthy lifestyle. A new egg white sandwich, vegan cream cheese-style spread, skinny bagels and a new smoked Nova lox salmon round out the new choices.
Bruegger’s introduced its new Skinny Bacon, Avocado & Tomato Egg White Sandwich, made with egg white, peppered bacon, avocado, tomato, and sundried tomato spread on a skinny Plain bagel. Guests can boost their protein by adding a second egg or egg white to any sandwich for a small upcharge. The new Supernova Sandwich offers smoked Nova lox salmon, smashed avocado, tomato, cucumber, red onion, capers and Onion & Chive cream cheese on a Sesame bagel.
Because both new sandwiches feature avocado, the ingredient will also be available at a slight upcharge for a limited time to add to any sandwich.
“Our fans are telling us they want more ways to customize their favorite menu items to fit their lifestyle and dietary needs,” says Bruegger’s Bagels President Tyler Ricks. “By offering ingredients like egg whites, dairy-free Daiya Cream Cheeze Style Spread and avocado, we are giving them the chance to customize their diets to meet their nutrition needs.”
Seasonal fan-favorite French Toast Coffee, with the aroma of buttered French toast and flavors of cinnamon and maple syrup, returns for its annual limited run at select bakeries.
The winter menu will be available starting January 10 at participating Bruegger’s Bagels locations. The Skinny Bacon, Avocado & Tomato Egg White Sandwich will only be available until the end of February, with the Supernova Sandwich staying in bakeries through April.
