In addition to its regular booth at the Annual Specialty Coffee Association of America’s Exposition in Atlanta April 16-19, BUNN will offer visitors the opportunity to take a break at its “Books and BUNN” event. The new feature will be located at Booth 124, while the official BUNN’s SCAA Booth will be nearby at Booth 123.

SCAA attendees can browse (and buy) books by coffee authors Susan Zimmer, Mark Pendergrast, and Tim Castle at “Books and BUNN” while enjoying a complimentary espresso beverage from the BUNN Espress Tiger. The authors will be featured at an SCAA education session called “Penning the Perfect Cup: Writing About Coffee,” from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Sunday, April 19, in room A403 of the Georgia World Congress Center. Long-time friend of specialty coffee Margaret Swallow will moderate a discussion among these three popular authors, who will explain their very different approaches to the subject of coffee. After the session, from 12:30 to 4 p.m., the authors will meet trade show attendees and sign books at “Books and BUNN” Booth 124.

Susan Zimmer, author of I Love Coffee! Over 100 Easy and Delicious Coffee Drinks, has worked for leading coffee and espresso manufacturers for more than years. A frequent television guest, she has written two coffee books with more than 110,000 copies printed in 5 languages. Mark Pendergrast is the author of critically acclaimed Uncommon Grounds: The History of Coffee and How it Transformed the World and three other books. He writes a column about coffee for Wine Spectator magazine. Timothy J. Castle, author of The Perfect Cup: A Coffee Lover’s Guide to Buying, Brewing, And Tasting, is a broker of high-end green coffee to specialty roasters throughout North America. For more than thirty years, Castle has traveled to coffee-producing nations and is credited by many for introducing estate coffees to the U.S. specialty market.
