Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, known for its award-winning, hand-crafted sandwiches, has named franchise industry veteran Jane McPherson as the company’s new Senior Vice President of Marketing. McPherson’s passion for the brand, along with her extensive background in restaurant technology and marketing will be pivotal as the brand continues its innovation and growth efforts.

McPherson brings more than 20 years of marketing experience, primarily in the franchising space, to her new role at Capriotti’s. Her previous roles include serving as the Senior Director of Marketing at Quiznos, where she used marketing to fuel an aggressive growth strategy resulting in 900 percent growth for the brand. She later served as the Vice President of Marketing for Famous Brands International, where she led the revitalization of the TCBY and Mrs. Fields brands.

As the Senior Vice President of Marketing, McPherson will be responsible for initiating and implementing new technology concepts to aid in marketing efforts such as the Capriotti’s rewards app and new online ordering methods to fuel increased sales at the store level. She will also be spearheading a large marketing initiative to promote Capriotti’s catering services.

“As Capriotti’s continues our strategic growth strategy, it’s vital to have top talent like Jane to lead our marketing efforts,” says Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “Jane’s role will be vital in navigating the crowded marketing technology space and choosing the most effective methods for our brand.”

Capriotti’s is committed to creating mouthwatering, homemade subs and sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients for an unsurpassed taste. Capriotti’s is known for its 40-year nightly tradition of slow-roasting whole all-natural turkeys in-house and hand shredding them every morning to feature in a variety of their fan-favorite subs.

The national franchise brand has more than 100 fast-casual restaurant locations across the country, and will open an additional 15 shops by the end of the year with long terms goals to have 500 locations open by 2025.
