Carl’s Jr. is calling on burger fans to hand over their crowns and experience the difference of a freshly cooked-to-order burger through its “Stealing the Crown” promotion. For a limited time, My Rewards loyalty members can submit a picture of a crown, or their receipt from a royally disappointing burger from the competition, via direct message on Instagram to Carl’s Jr., signifying their surrender to a better burger from Carl’s Jr. In return, guests will be rewarded with a promo code for a complimentary Angus Maximus, the hero LTO of their Burger Revolution, in the My Rewards app.

“Carl’s Jr. believes the next burger battle will be won on quality,” said Burge Diemer, chief marketing officer at Carl’s Jr. “A burger worth fighting for shouldn’t be waiting for you in a holding cabinet — it should hit the grill when you order it. With ‘Stealing the Crown,’ we’re inviting burger fans to surrender the crown and taste the difference for themselves with an Angus Maximus cooked fresh specifically for them.”

The promotion builds on Carl’s Jr.’s new cooked-to-order initiative, designed to deliver hotter, fresher and more consistently craveable burgers. Rather than relying on traditional holding systems that can compromise temperature and flavor, Carl’s Jr. begins cooking burgers after a guest places an order and are served hot and fresh from the charbroiler.

The Angus Maximus
Available at $5.99 for a limited time at participating locations, the Angus Maximus is the first limited-time offer item to launch under the brand’s “Burger Revolution.” At 5.7 ounces, the Angus Maximus delivers 100% Angus beef at $1.05 per ounce, making it a standout value and quality among major fast-food burger offerings.

It features two charbroiled, 100% Angus beef patties seasoned with Carl’s Jr.’s signature blend, melted American cheese, sliced onions, dill pickles and special sauce, all served on a buttery toasted brioche bun.
