Building on the success of its most recent Catering Sales Management Workshop, The Catering Institute will host a Restaurant Catering Leadership Workshop, March 9–10 in New Orleans. The workshop is $849 for early bird registration or $949 after January 1. There are also discounts available for large groups.

Along with Erle Dardick, founder and CEO of MonkeyMedia Software, The Catering Institute, and Catering Insights, the workshop will feature guest speakers and brand leaders from the restaurant community, including Fred LeFranc, founder of Results Thru Strategy, and Michael Mack, founder of 2m-spaces, and cofounder and former CEO of Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp.

"We were thrilled with the amount of positive feedback we received from our sales management workshop and decided to focus next on leadership," says Tracy Avolio, vice president at The Catering Institute. "There are so many fantastic catering leaders throughout the restaurant industry, and it's our goal to give them the tools they need to grow restaurant catering sales."

The event is being held with support from founding sponsor MonkeyMedia Software and co-sponsor Catering Insights, as well as industry sponsors PepsiCo Foodservice, Punchh, and Voice Teleservices. The workshop is open to restaurant catering directors, marketing and operations personnel, restaurant CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CMOs, and anyone involved in off-premise restaurant sales.

Workshop topics include:

"Leadership is one of our five pillars of successful restaurant catering and leadership training is one of the most important investments restaurant operators can make when developing their catering and off-premise teams," Dardick says. This latest workshop is just one way in which we can continue on our mission to make the entire restaurant catering community thrive."
