As part of the Dairy Queen system’s launch of Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies and Light Smoothies, the Berkshire Hathaway company is offering a custom-designed graphic for the graduate’s mortarboard with a question that all parents can appreciate: “Orange you glad I graduated?”

“Just like today’s graduates, Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies are in a class all by themselves,” says Barry Westrum, executive vice president of marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ). “We are sure that most graduates would like to decorate their graduation cap, but with so much going on, they don’t have time. We are giving them a simple way to decorate their cap with an appropriate message.”

To download the artwork, graduates can visit Visitors to the site also will find tips on how to affix the artwork to the cap. Students can share photos of their caps on Instagram and tag them with #LOVEmyDQ.

“The Dairy Queen and Orange Julius brands are fun, and we felt this was a quirky way to help grads with their artwork,” Westrum says. “Our new Orange Julius Premium Fruit Smoothies and Light Smoothies are a smart beverage alternative, and we want America to graduate to these better quality beverages.”
