Quick-service chicken restaurant chain Church’s Texas Chicken and Goodwill of North Georgia announced a collaboration to further their mission and create positive impact in the many communities they serve, kicking off with the “Celebrating Generosity” holiday initiative.
From November 27 to December 10, people can participate in the campaign by donating lightly used goods to select Goodwill stores and donation centers nearby participating Church’s Texas Chicken restaurants in Metro Atlanta. In exchange for their generosity, donors will receive a bounce back coupon (valid thru 12/31/2023) offering a free 3 Piece Tenders Meal, including a regular classic side, a Honey-Butter Biscuit and a 22 oz. drink. Put simply – when customers ‘give’ at Goodwill, they ‘get’ at Church’s Texas Chicken.
The holiday season is the perfect time to donate gently-used clothing and other items to Goodwill of North Georgia. Not only does it provide treasures for others to find, but it also helps create workforce development and employment opportunities, contributing to Goodwill’s impact on the community of North Georgia.
“We are honored to join hands with Goodwill of North Georgia for this incredibly important seasonal effort,” says Joe Guith, CEO of Church’s Texas Chicken. “At Church’s, we believe in the power of communities coming together, and this joint effort exemplifies our common mission of making a positive impact. Many of our restaurants are just a few miles away from a Goodwill, making them the perfect ally with which to spread joy, share kindness and Celebrate Generosity during this special time of year.”
“This collaboration with Church’s Texas Chicken is a testament to our commitment to create opportunities and make a positive impact in the communities we serve here in North Georgia,” says Keith Parker, president and CEO of Goodwill of North Georgia. “At Goodwill, we believe in harnessing the power of generosity to create opportunities for those in need. This initiative highlights the importance of donating during the holiday season, as it can make a significant impact in spreading warmth and hope to those who need it the most.”
Goodwill relies on selling gently-used donations in order to assist jobseekers in reaching their employment goals – revenue from the sale of donated goods creates jobs and enables the operations of training and education programs at Goodwill locations across its 45-county territory. Additionally, donations to Goodwill are tax deductible toward the 2023 tax season, providing yet another reason for people to Celebrate Generosity with Church’s Texas Chicken and Goodwill of North Georgia this holiday season.
