Cicis is reflecting on a year marked by strategic initiatives that bolstered the success of its “Endless Pizzabilities” campaign. This included a revamped website experience, inventive limited-time offerings, the launch of the fan-favorite 64-slice Piezillaâ, and the receipt of several prestigious accolades. These notable accomplishments showcase the brand’s commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, making Cicis an appealing opportunity for potential franchisees seeking a proven and dynamic business model.

“As we reflect on a truly incredible 2023, we continue to reinforce elements of the Cicis Pizza brand that our guests know and love,” says Jeff Hetsel, president of Cicis Pizza. “What’s to come in 2024 is even more exciting as we remain committed to providing unbeatable value for our loyal guests across the country.”

Closing the chapter in 2023, Cicis reported a robust 7.8 percent increase in sales since the end of 2022, a clear indicator of the brand’s enduring appeal. This past year, Cicis celebrated the opening of its Frisco, Texas store and successful reopenings in Hixson, Tennessee and Houston, Texas. Anticipating further growth, Cicis is set to reopen its Gastonia, North Carolina store and is on track for a Trussville, Alabama reopening by the end of 2024. With a six-store development agreement in Texas and five locations in the pipeline, including Kaufman, Allen and Southlake/Grapevine in Texas, as well as Midlothian, Virginia and Calhoun, Georgia, Cicis is poised for continued success in expanding its footprint.

In testament to Cicis commitment to leadership and innovation, this past year saw the well-deserved promotion of Craig Richards to Chief Operating Officer, further solidifying the seasoned executive team.

Cicis 2023 “Let’s Ride” themed conference fostered invaluable connections between franchisees and the corporate team who came together to delve into the current state and future vision of the brand. Featuring guest speakers, round table discussions, educational tracks and more, the conference served as a stage for Cicis to honor and celebrate outstanding franchisees. Notably, the prestigious Joe Croce Award winners, FAC president Shannon Mooney and corporate district manager Daniel Sebastian, were acknowledged for embodying excellence and dedication in their local communities.

In the competitive restaurant landscape, customer engagement is crucial for success, and Cicis is leading the charge with the pilot launch of Cicis Listens. Using QR codes on carryout boxes and dining tables, guests seamlessly access a feedback platform. Following a successful trial, Cicis Listens will launch systemwide in early 2024. Alongside this, Cicis is gearing up for the release of a party platform for streamlined event planning and a loyalty program later in the year, expressing gratitude to valued guests with enticing rewards.

Currently, Cicis has operations in 23 states and is looking to expand across the country in target markets like Atlanta, Georgia and Richmond Virginia, in addition to the Dallas Metroplex and Houston. Cicis is selectively awarding franchise opportunities to a variety of qualified franchisee candidates, including single-unit and multi-unit franchisees and other well-capitalized investors. Ideal Cicis franchisees have business operations experience and the capability to fully immerse themselves in the business.
