As National Cookie Day approaches, Cookie Co., an emerging franchise providing gourmet desserts, announced a partnership with the non-profit Food Finders to make this year’s celebration even more special.

National Cookie Day, celebrated annually on December 4, is a day dedicated to indulge in cookies. Cookie Co. will be giving away free mini chocolate chip cookies at participating locations with a limit of one per customer while supplies last. The brand has decided to take this celebration to the next level by incorporating a charitable aspect into the festivities. This year, a percentage of sales made from all 20+ Cookie Co. locations nationwide will be donated to Food Finders, a non-profit organization committed to eliminate hunger and food waste while improving nutrition in food insecure communities.

“We believe in community and giving back through philanthropy, and what better way to do so than to enjoy one of our signature gourmet cookies while contributing to a meaningful cause,” says Pamela Fazio, Chief Executive Officer at Cookie Co. “By partnering with Food Finders, we aim to make a positive impact on our community and extend the warmth and sweetness of National Cookie Day beyond our doors.”

Food Finders since its inception in 1989 has grown from rescuing several thousand pounds of food to nearly 14 millions of pounds of food annually. Food Finders mission is to eliminate hunger and food waste and improve nutrition in the food insecure communities they serve. What set Food Finders apart is that food is rescued and redistributed to partners the same day, at no cost. Equally important, food rescue makes a positive impact on our planet by eliminating carbon emissions and saving billions of water used to produce the food.

“We are thrilled to partner with Cookie Co. on National Cookie Day,” adds Diana Lara, Executive Director at Food Finders. “Their commitment to making a positive impact on the community aligns perfectly with our mission. Together, we can make a difference and provide food to people in need.”

Cookie Co. invites everyone to join in the celebration on December 4, 2023 by visiting their local location to enjoy their delicious variety of cookies and support the cause.
