Cousins Subs is proud to present $50,000 to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation as part of its “Combos For A Cure” campaign.
Throughout the month of September, Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs restaurants contributed a percentage of all combo meal sales to VLCF to support cancer care and research throughout the state. Cousins Make It Better Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to funding local organizations that address health and wellness, hunger, and youth education, also contributed to the cause.
“It has been overwhelmingly inspiring to see the teams at Cousins and the community come together for cancer patients in Wisconsin,” says Erin Hareng, executive director of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation. “The response to ‘Combos For A Cure’ was greater than expected. Our Foundation is proud to partner with Wisconsin-based companies like Cousins Subs and the great people of Wisconsin.”
Donations to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation provide essential funding to support innovative research, cancer care facilities in multiple cities across southeastern Wisconsin and advanced technology for better outcomes in cancer.

In 2015, 32,700 people in Wisconsin will hear the words “you have cancer” (newly diagnosed). One out of four of them will choose Aurora Cancer Care. The Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation has a more than 30 year relationship with Aurora Cancer Care with a shared commitment to providing exceptional local cancer care. There are 22 Aurora Cancer Care Centers, which include 13 Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinics. Each is dedicated to providing superior treatment close-to-home. Donations by the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation enhance Aurora Cancer Care programs and support locally led, patient-centered cancer research.
