International Dairy Queen, Inc. (IDQ), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and leader in the quick-service restaurant industry, announced it will move their franchisee support center (FSC) from its Edina, Minn. location to 8000 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, Minn. in early 2019.

IDQ President and CEO, Troy Bader, noted that the new office space will reflect the energy and passion of the Dairy Queen brand. According to Bader, “The decision to move our franchisee support center to the Normandale Towers highlights our focus on providing our employees with the tools they need to continue growing the Dairy Queen brand and our franchisees’ business.”

IDQ is working with Minneapolis-based HGA Architects and Engineers, to design the over 50,000 square-foot space which will include a new test kitchen, unique collaborative spaces and updated technology.

Bader says, “We’re very pleased to continue our presence as an employer of choice in the Twin Cities and look forward to providing excellent service for our franchisees and fans well into the future.”
