QSR magazine, a publication for executives and operators in the foodservice industry, announced that Dine America, the Foodservice Executive Idea Exchange Conference, will be held at the Hilton Americas-Houston in the heart of Houston, Texas, on April 6–8, 2008. The Americas-Houston is the largest convention hotel in the city with more than 1,200 rooms, and thousands of square feet of meeting space.

The conference brings together successful restaurant owners, restaurant franchisees, corporate franchisors, and some of the biggest names in the quick-service and fast casual restaurant industry. The two-day conference includes keynote speakers, educational sessions, collaborative group discussions, vendor events, and a vendor sponsor fair. The conference is organized and presented by QSR magazine.

“Dine America is a key event in the world of restaurant business. This will be our fifth year bringing together high level executives into an environment where they can learn, share, and have a great time,” says the new executive director of the conference, Kevin Donaldson. “Houston is a natural fit, as it is truly a restaurant town. There are more than 5,000 restaurants, making it the foremost restaurant city in America.”
