Dunkin’ Donuts announced that it has opened a new restaurant with new franchisee EZ Chow Inc., at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) in Lindbergh Main Terminal 1.
The new restaurant is open from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week, and employs approximately 40 crew members. The restaurant provides a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy Dunkin’ Donuts’ food and beverages in a friendly and fun atmosphere. The new restaurant features a menu of Dunkin’ Donuts’ internationally recognized coffee, lattes, teas and a variety of donuts. Special highlights of the menu also include breakfast sandwiches, Coolatta frozen drinks and a DDSMART menu featuring better-for-you items to offer guests even more choices.
“Dunkin’ Donuts is one of the world’s leading brands, and it has become a favorite in Minneapolis for busy, on-the-go people seeking delicious food and beverages any time of the day,” says Gregory Hugh, vice president of Business Development for EZ Chow Inc. and Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee. “As both a resident and business owner in the Twin Cities area, we are proud to serve the people who live, work and travel here, and know we will become a popular destination in the terminal.”
There are currently two Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Minnesota and as part of the company’s continued growth throughout the state, franchise opportunities remain available in Rochester. To help fuel additional growth in the market, special development incentives are available, which include reduced royalty fees for three years and up to $5,000 in local store marketing support for timely openings.
“Today we mark a significant milestone for Dunkin’ Donuts in Minnesota as we open at the epicenter for travelers in the North Star state, and look forward to serving guests at this new location,” says Grant Benson, CFE, vice president of global franchising and business development, Dunkin’ Brands. “We are excited about our ongoing expansion throughout the state and look forward to welcoming new franchisees to the Rochester area to keep more of Minnesota running on Dunkin’.”
In an effort to keep the brand fresh and competitive, Dunkin’ Donuts offers flexible concepts for any real estate format including free-standing restaurants, end caps, in-line sites, gas and convenience, travel plazas, universities, as well as other retail environments.
