With this week’s opening of Dunkin’s newest restaurant in Santa Ana, the chain now has 100 locations in California. This new, next generation location opening marks a significant moment in Dunkin’s growth as an on-the-go, beverage-led brand in California.

Franchisee Parag Patel opened the first Dunkin’ next generation concept location in California in 2018, so helping Dunkin’ reach this new milestone in the Golden State is particularly meaningful to him. “We are thrilled to be a part of Dunkin’s next generation location initiative and incredibly proud to be opening the brand’s 100th location in California,” said Patel.

Dunkin’ celebrated the restaurant’s grand opening with the local community yesterday with an official ribbon cutting ceremony, a donation from Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, face painting and a live DJ for entertainment. Additionally, the first 100 guests in line yesterday were surprised with free coffee for one year, to celebrate the store’s place as Dunkin’s 100th location in California.

Exciting elements of Dunkin’s new restaurant experience at the Santa Ana location include a modern atmosphere and innovative technologies, including fully integrated digital kiosk ordering and a faster drive-thru experience for DD Perks member who order on-the-go, to make running on Dunkin faster and more convenient than ever before.

Also at the new location, Dunkin’s signature cold beverages are served through an innovative tap system serving eight consistently cold beverages such as coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro infused cold brew coffee. Crew members will also use top-quality flavor-maximizing espresso machines to make hand-crafted espresso drinks to order.
