ArrowStream, a provider of supply chain solutions for the foodservice industry, announced an agreement with Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (ENRGI) to enhance supply chain management throughout ENRGI’s operations for its many brands, including Einstein Bros., Noah’s New York Bagels, and Manhattan Bagel.

ArrowStream OnDemand will synchronize and aggregate supply chain information from ENRGI restaurants and its distribution network and trading partners, providing ENRGI with a centralized supply chain resource that enables more informed and nimble inventory management, efficient and accurate spend rationalization, improved compliance management, increased restaurant automation, and promotions management.

ENRGI will be able to quickly take advantage of this solution because 80 percent of its partners currently participate in ArrowStream’s Network of more than 2,300 manufacturers, distributors, and chain operators.

“We anticipate a steady rise in efficiencies and cost savings with ArrowStream OnDemand as we gain greater insight into our supply chain management processes,” says Scott Harvey, senior vice president of manufacturing and supply chain for Einstein Noah Restaurant Group Inc. “Our goal is to reduce category spend, control price variance, suffer fewer stock outs, and rely less on inefficient manual processes, which will help us better control costs and implement improvements.”

“To provide real value to consumers in this competitive environment, chain operators and their partners need solutions that continue to deliver savings and efficiencies,” says Steven LaVoie, CEO and chairman of ArrowStream. “ArrowStream is excited about this opportunity to help Einstein’s implement informed and effective supply chain management processes that will deliver optimal bottom line results.”
