Tampa-based SoFresh, an emerging fresh casual concept that serves nutritious, made-to order meals that are quick and healthy, has finalized plans to open Carrollwood and Lakeland locations in fall 2020, according to John Williams Jr., founder and partner/vice president operations.

“We are excited to bring SoFresh to Carrollwood and Lakeland with our to flavorful and nutritious meals,” says Williams Jr. “Both markets have been on our radar for quite some time. We’re glad that we have been able to secure great locations and great franchise partners.”

Carrollwood

SoFresh Carrollwood will be located at 14398 North Dale Mabry in the Shoppes of Carrollwood. It will join 4 Rivers, Five Guys and Starbuck’s as its neighbors in the center.

“We think this is a perfect location in Carrollwood,” Williams Jr. adds. “We’ll be a nice complement to the other tenants.”

The franchise owner/operator is Jay Patel. A graduate of the University of South Florida, he has spent the last five years managing his family’s portfolio of hotels.

“I’m excited to soon be serving nutritious, delicious dishes made to order in an area I love,” says Patel. “SoFresh is a fast-growing, fresh casual concept.”

Westshore

SoFresh previously announced plans to open this fall in the Westshore Town Center. It will be next to Starbuck’s and Panera Bread.

Lakeland

SoFresh Lakeland will be located at 4756 Florida Avenue South in the Publix-anchored shopping center at Lake Miriam.

This is franchise owner/operator Kareem Mustafa’s first official SoFresh. He is no stranger to the brand.

“My family and I have always admired the food and atmosphere of the restaurant,” Mustafa says. “We are excited to be the ones to bring it to our community. We look forward to encouraging and offering food that both is delicious and makes you feel good.”

“SoFresh serves nutritious meals made to order,” Williams Jr. adds. “We think the Lakeland community will be pleased with our healthy menu offerings.”
