October marks National Pizza Month, and as an effort to give back to the community’s pizza lovers, Firenza will be donating 50 percent of its sales on designated nights from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Fairfax and Alexandria locations.

Firenza of Fairfax will be donating to the following organizations:

Fairfax High School Basketball: The event will be held on October 17.

Fairfax Presbyterian Preschool: The event will be held on October 19.

Firenza of Alexandria will be donating to the following organizations:

Springboard Barracudas: The event will be held on October 12.

Hayfield Secondary: The event will be held on October 17.

Saratoga Elementary School: The event will be held from on October 18.

Springfield United Methodist Church: The event will be held on October 26.

In addition to the fundraising events, Firenza will also continue its daily specials such as Military Monday and First Responder Tuesday. Guests also still have the opportunity to be one of 10 to win a free pizza when they like, comment, or share on Firenza’s daily “Free Pizza Post” on Facebook.

“Since the conception of our brand we have been very passionate about giving back to the local community,” says Dave Baer, Firenza’s president and co-founder. “As Firenza continues to grow across the nation, we want to traditionalize our fundraising efforts in each market we tap into.”
