Fitlife Foods, a lifestyle brand committed to creating fresh, natural, and nutritious meals, announced plans to open its business for franchising. The company plans to build more than 15 new franchised store locations across Florida, and to hire between 50 and 100 new employees to accommodate growth.

“We’ve been continuously perfecting our business model for the past six and a half years with the goal to franchise – we have put time and capital into our stores to ensure our method is proven,” says David Osterweil, Fitlife Foods’ founder. “With great franchisees, our vision and values will continue to be very strong and will positively impact our customers.”

Fitlife’s franchising plan entails pursuing locations within Florida like Jacksonville, Gainesville, Orlando, and South Florida. With growth and expansion in mind, Fitlife’s Plant City Culinary Center – where all meals are prepared and cooked – is capable of expansion as well. In addition to adding about eight employees per store, Fitlife will also add employees at the Culinary Center.

On the heels of Fitlife’s franchising announcement, the company promoted its Tampa Bay market director, Alison Domino, to the role of director of franchising and business development. Domino is now responsible for connecting with appropriate partners, handling introductory phone calls, and managing discovery days to teach potential franchisees about the brand in further detail.

“We will always keep our focus on building and expanding a brand based on the intersection of innovative flavors, and deep, dedicated relationships with our customers to help them live a healthier life,” Osterweil says. “At the end of the day, we are not focused on winning, as so many are in the competitive business landscape of food. Instead, we are focused on succeeding, and that is exactly what we will do for our franchisees, our team, and, most importantly, our customers.”
