Fitlife Foods, a Florida-based performance and lifestyle brand known for its perfectly portioned, made-from-scratch meals for performance-minded individuals, announced Tuesday its all-new summer menu. These new meal options are packed with seasonal ingredients and flavor designed to help boost energy and serve as a healthy option.
The addition of new vegetarian and low-calorie meals for Fitlife’s summer menu perfectly parallels with the growing trend of vegetarian comfort foods. According to Baum + Whitman, vegetables will continue to rise on the dinner plate, as the popularity decline of animal proteins and heavy side dishes makes way for more vegetarian options, which is one of the top five food trends for 2017.
The new Fit Meals include Artisanal Cage-Free Egg Soufflé, Chimichurri Chicken and Chicken and Broccoli Stir Fry, as well as a variety of vegetarian options, such as Zoodles and Veggie ‘Meatballs,’ Street Corn Sauté and an Asian Veggie Bowl. Fitlife Foods also added a few Fit Snacks including the Mini PB Honey Dipper, Mini Snacker Pizza and Mini Organic Turkey Roll-Ups, which are ideal for working professionals, or busy parents looking for an on-the-go snack.
“At Fitlife Foods, we are dedicated to providing healthy meal options that constantly fuel our customers with energy and goodness,” says David Osterweil, founder of Fitlife Foods. “We created new menu items to accommodate a large variety of food preferences, and to ensure that our customers don’t have to compromise flavor for health.”
Some of Fitlife Foods’ most popular and healthy meals include the Chicken Enchilada Bake, BBQ Beef with Mac ‘N Cheese and the gluten-free Chicken ‘Pizza’ Supreme. Menu prices range from $3 to $13 and feature gluten-free, vegetarian, paleo and low-carb options, with nutritional information printed directly on the label. Additionally, Fitlife Foods offers a recycling program allowing customers to eat delicious and healthy meals with the option of returning 20 empty containers for a $10 credit to the store. The containers are then “upcycled” into the hard, permanent plastics in the community, and the customer wastes nothing.
“Fitlife was specifically created to help individuals live a healthier lifestyle and perform their best every day,” says Osterweil. “We turned our passion of homemade, made-from-scratch food to an easy, on-the-go option that fits perfectly into anyone’s lifestyle and daily routine.”
Customers have the option of ordering online for in-store pickup, or home delivery in select locations. Fitlife Foods has 10 locations throughout the greater-Tampa area, two in Orlando and three in South Florida. Delivery is available in Clearwater, North Tampa, South Tampa, St. Petersburg, Trinity and Wesley Chapel.
