Five Guys today announced the selection of GoMobo Takeout as its exclusive online ordering and mobile ordering provider for more than 600 locations nationwide.

GoMobo’s platform will allow Five Guys customers to order and pay ahead from their computer at www.fiveguys.com, or via mobile phone at gofiveguys.mobi to schedule a time for express pickup at the location of their choice. Customers can also order and pay by text message by saving their favorite orders at www.fiveguys.com, linking their mobile phone, and texting ‘MENU’ to 466626.

The deal also represents the first national deployment of Radiant RPOS-integrated point-of-sale system, putting the point-of-sale system on consumers’ laptops and mobile phones. GoMobo and Five Guys plan to roll out a Micros-integrated point-of-sale system later this year.

“Five Guys is excited to be partnering with GoMobo …” says Steve Teller, Project Manager for Five Guys Enterprises. “With a remote ordering system that is fully integrated with our point-of-sale vendors, we can provide a streamlined and easily managed online ordering solution to our customers and franchisees.”

Noah Glass, CEO of GoMobo, says “We are proud to work with Five Guys: a brand that has grown so rapidly while staying true to its core values. Our service will give Five Guys customers a new and easy way to order and pay online.”

Five Guys estimates it will expand to somewhere between 700 and 800 locations nationwide by the end of 2010.
