Freebirds World Burrito has appointed seasoned marketer Richard Pennock as Vice President of Marketing. Richard brings a breadth of experience in digital marketing, communication strategy, CRM and brand positioning. His hiring is the latest investment Freebirds has made to strengthen its marketing and technology capabilities, which include a new website and app to support the growing demand of online ordering.

Prior to joining Freebirds, Richard was the Senior Director of Marketing at Austin-based Tacodeli, which doubled its Texas footprint with Richard on the team. During his four years at Tacodeli, Richard was responsible for all aspects of marketing including digital marketing, social media, brand partnerships and public relations, as well as a comprehensive brand refresh that supported the company’s successful growth.
