Set to open in Glenview at the new Glen Gate retail center on Friday, May 22, the restaurant will be conveniently situated adjacent to Mariano’s and a collection of high-profile corporate campuses and residential developments.

The Glenview restaurant embraces the brand’s essence of fresh, made-from scratch, authentic Italian dishes perfect for local residents and professionals seeking a retreat that is as comforting as their home, yet with the tastes and aromas you can only find at Go Roma. Menu items are made from premium ingredients, served quickly and with the ultimate in convenience.

Go Roma’s newest location will also feature design and décor enhancements, and a refreshed tagline reflective of the updates, “Scratch Italian, Pronto.” The strategic moves come as creative touches to further distinguish Go Roma as the clear industry leader in the fast-casual Italian segment.

An open-kitchen space illuminates the freshness of the menu while hardwood floors, a chalkboard menu board, an eye-catching 1963 Vespa suspended from the ceiling, and new color scheme create an original fast-casual environment. Comfortable leather booths and flexible seating options, including an outdoor patio, are ideal for business lunches, friends, and families with small children.

In addition to the ambiance afforded guests in the restaurant, Go Roma’s new Glenview location specializes in unique catering options for nearby businesses. Whether for a small group or companywide meeting, Go Roma gives every event a fresh flair for flavor.

The growth strategy has the full support of Chalak Mitra Group, a private equity firm serving the foodservice, hospitality and real estate sectors, which purchased the chain in July of 2014. Founded by seven leaders in the restaurant franchise sector, the award-winning investment group brings more than a century of combined experience driving growth for emerging and established restaurant concepts. In addition to Go Roma, Chalak Mitra owns Genghis Grill, Baker Bros Deli, Ruby Tequila’s Mexican Kitchen, Elephant Bar, Fireside Pies, and Pepper Smash a Cocktail Kitchen, among others. The group is also franchisees of KFC, Taco Bell, and La Madeleine.

Offering a wide range of fresh Italian dishes, including hearty homemade soups, hand-stretched thin-crust artisan pizzas, seasonal entrée salads, flatbread sandwiches, tossed pasta, and a variety of homemade desserts, each of the selections on the Go Roma menu are made in-house with the freshest ingredients available. Menu items are priced between $5 and $10, with a separate menu available for children. Go Roma also offers takeout and catering options.
