Grabbagreen announced their entry into Michigan. The food + juice concept has joined forces with Michael, Spencer and Christina Raymond of Green & Go, LLC. The agreement includes exclusive rights to develop 10 stores in the SE Michigan area over the next 5 years. The franchise group is actively looking for sites within a five-county area in SE Michigan, including Livingston, Oakland, Wayne, Washtenaw and Macomb counties.

Grabbagreen’s vision is to ‘Lead The Charge In Making Fast Food Healthy,’ as the brand’s superfood menu features green and grain-based bowls, fresh-pressed juice, handcrafted smoothies, acai cups and more. All ingredients at Grabbagreen are high-quality, whole ingredients, free of artificial colors, sweetners, additives and GMOs.

“We are very excited to continue to penetrate the Midwest and enter the state of Michigan,” says Kim Cramton, Executive VP of Franchise Development and Operations for Grabbagreen. “The continued response is a testament that people want healthy food, fast – that is delicious. We are thrilled to have the Raymond family unite with ours and be on the front line of changing the face of fast food.”

At Grabbagreen, customers are able to choose from high-quality food at reasonable prices which is made at the time it is ordered. Grabbagreen’s proteins are both hormone and antibiotic-free and are provided by local farms. The menu offers both a food and drink menu as well as all day breakfast items. Any item at Grabbagreen can be made Paleo, Vegetarian or Vegan through the popular Grab Your Own option. The modern decor and energetic ambiance appeals to everyone from children to adults.

“Healthy eating is clearly becoming the new trend among all age groups. It is something that I implement every day in our household. With our fast-paced lifestyle, we eat out quite frequently, but there has always been a complete lack of health-conscious food options available on the go. When I found Grabbagreen, it struck me as a clear and convincing alternative. What has been lacking in the industry is a healthy and convenient option without compromising the integrity of the food and Grabbagreen does just that,” says franchisee, Spencer Raymond. “We have no doubt that our community will fall in love with Grabbagreen just like we did. We are excited to bring this concept to southeast Michigan.”

Spencer Raymond is a Michigan State University graduate with a degree in Hospitality Business. His work background includes Bagger Dave’s, a burger tavern chain, food and beverage positions with Marriott Hotels and most recently as a manager for J. Alexanders, an upscale contemporary restaurant. “It is going to be a lot of hard work and many hours put in,” says Raymond. “But with the help of my family and the community standing behind us, I have no doubt that we will be successful in bringing a healthy alternative to Michigan.”

Grabbagreen has experienced rapid growth spreading across the United States since announcing their franchise opportunity in April 2015. The franchise has signed 98 store agreements and more than 174 development agreements. Grabbagreen now has 24 restaurants operating in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, New Jersey, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
