Temple residents can get a jump-start on the holidays by eating clean and healthy at the latest fast-food restaurant to open in Texas. Grabbagreen, an Arizona-based food + juice restaurant, will open its doors on November 14 at the corner of West Adams & Hilliard at 6607 W. Adams Avenue. The location is owned by franchisee and local Temple resident, Troy Payne of Green Leap, LLC. The company’s clean eating menu includes green + grain bowls, wraps, juice, cold brew, smoothies, acai cups and more. This is the 4th location for the concept in the state of Texas; with two Dallas locations and one in Killeen.
At Grabbagreen, you can choose to eat your food or drink your food. The warm grain and green-based bowls are created with housemade sauces, super nutrients and feature multiple protein and whole food options. New to the Grabbagreen menu are wraps, which will be available at the Temple location. Any signature menu item can be built Vegetarian or Vegan through the Grab Your Own option. The smoothie and juice options center around energy, immunity, detox, wellness and just like the food, can be customized with a variety of fruit and vegetable options. Also new to Grabbagreen are handcrafted fountain drinks which are all natural, organic and non-GMO. The Grabba Mart is full of quick and healthy options including bottled elixir shots, bottle juice, fresh fruit and healthy snacks.
“I have lived in Temple for 25 years and think it’s perfect community for the Grabbagreen brand,” says Payne. “We love the energy and support around our soon-to-be customers. I’ve met countless people living and working in Temple that are excited about having a truly healthy fast food concept in this area. Also, our town is an attractive option for young professionals who are fast paced and looking for healthier options along with our proximity to the medical district of Baylor Scott & White Hospital and McLane’s Children’s Hospital and the VA Medical Center. We just can’t wait to open the doors, says Payne.”
The modern decor of the restaurant has an industrial vibe, which is highlighted with bright green accents, produce photography, a branded periodic table of nutrients and even a youth table.
