LA Crawfish announced the opening of its newest franchise location in Webster, Texas. The Houston-based restaurant franchise, known for its unique Vietnamese-style Cajun seafood, looks to aggressively expand its franchises throughout the U.S.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to open our first location in the south Houston market," says Minson Ngo, president of LA Crawfish. "Webster represents a great market for us. It is exciting to be able to offer the residents here our recognized Vietnamese-Cajun flavors. This represents one of many future locations to come."

Known for its Vietnamese-style Cajun seafood, LA Crawfish, founded in 2011, is aggressively expanding its franchise throughout the U.S. In the past year, LA Crawfish has signed nine new franchise agreements. It currently has five locations open with four new stores in development, including a store in Austin, Texas and Anaheim, California.

The location opens at a time when crawfish season is about to begin. In addition to its famous crawfish, other menu items include Cajun Pho, crab, oysters, shrimp, and chicken wings. Three sauces are available: garlic butter, spicy Cajun, and chili lime.

Chefs Andy and Minson Ngo, the founders of LA Crawfish, won the 2013 Cross-Cultural Mash-Up Award in Cooking Light's Trailblazing Chef Awards. In addition, LA Crawfish was named for having the best crawfish in 2014 by the Houston Press and in 2015 by the Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau.

To fuel the growth of LA Crawfish, the company is actively seeking qualified franchisees in various markets throughout the U.S.
