IHOP Franchisee Takes Burger Concept to Michigan

Kal Farah, a multiunit IHOP franchisee, signed on to develop Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries in Michigan.

The Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries concept has seven locations open in Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and California and 60 units in development in Virginia, Georgia, California, Michigan, New Jersey, and the Middle East.

“Today’s consumers want fresh ground beef burgers and fresh cut fries, not the standard, frozen fast food fare,” says new franchisee Kal Farah.

Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries has attracted several restaurant industry veterans to become franchisees, including the former CEO of Caribou Coffee and former COO of Jersey Mike’s.

Boardwalk Fresh Burgers & Fries is expanding worldwide with units in development across the United States and the Middle East.
