The Foodservice Packaging Institute (FPI) is hosting a webinar that will bring together industry partners to discuss various aspects of compostable foodservice packaging, including: critical labeling issues, common questions from the foodservice industry, education of consumers, and challenges seen by the composting community.
Speakers during the 90-minute webinar scheduled for Tuesday, September 24 at 2:00 Eastern Time will include representatives from the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI), the National Restaurant Association (NRA), and the U.S. Composting Council (USCC).
“With the growth of compostable foodservice packaging in the marketplace, companies need to have a better understanding of the issues and the roles that they play in the value chain and how collaboration is the key to everyone’s success,” says FPI president Lynn Dyer. “We are thrilled to work with our partners at BPI, NRA, and USCC on this collaborative effort.”
