Just Salad, the NYC-based fast casual concept committed to serving real food at an affordable price, will double its Greater Chicago footprint from four to eight locations in 2019 and hire over 100 additional teammates as a result.

Just Salad will open the first of its four new locations at Illinois Center (233 N Michigan Avenue) in early 2019. The new 1,250-square foot space, located on the concourse level, will feature group seating, free WiFi, and host lunch meetings for nearby offices.

With 5 buildings, 4.6 million square feet of office and retail space, and over 20,000 employees, Just Salad’s move to Illinois Center represents a major step forward in the company’s mission to make healthy food accessible to everyone. Home of the World’s Largest Restaurant Reusable Program, Just Salad anticipates that its Illinois Center location will sell more reusable bowls—and in turn save more plastic—than any other Just Salad location in the country.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to double our footprint and reach more Chicagoans than ever before,” says Nick Kenner, Just Salad Founder & CEO. “We credit our success in this market to our healthy, grea tasting, and affordable options, along with our stellar operations team that makes sure guests are in and-out in under 8 minutes.”

Just Salad opened its first Chicago location at 20 E. Jackson Blvd in April 2015 and has since expanded to four locations throughout the Loop, West Loop and River North.
