King & Prince Seafood announced that Dr. Cindy Jacobs has joined the company as director of corporate social responsibility and education. She will be responsible for developing King and Prince’s corporate social responsibility policy and for communicating and implementing this policy both internally and externally.
In addition, Jacobs will lead the company’s endeavors to create a professional, skilled, and motivated workforce by engaging the local community.
Her objectives include ensuring King and Prince Seafood is at the forefront of developing and implementing corporate social responsibility expectations, and making King and Prince Seafood the employer of choice in Southeast Georgia.

Jacobs most recently worked as school improvement specialist for the Georgia Department of Education for the past three years. She was an assistant professor of education at Armstrong Atlantic State University, and has also worked locally at Coastal College of Georgia and with the Glynn County Board of Education.
Her education includes a B.S. in early childhood education from Armstrong State University; masters of art in computing & education from Teachers College-Columbia University, New York; and a doctorate of education: Leadership from the University of North Florida, Jacksonville.
